BioGreetings! In order to make it simple, I have outlined the who and what of me below:
Nicknames: Taty, Blue Eyed Monkey, T, Mom and some I won't share here. heh
Age:39...40 soon!...YAY! What? I love being a grown up. :~}
Children: One 17.. year old named Julian. He skateboards and loves music. Has a great sense of humor and expects perfection (Virgo). I am proud to be raising a conscientious, compassionate and level headed young man.
Born: Springfield, MA. Fact: There are over 77 Springfields in the U.S. (78 if you count Bart's hometown). THIS Springfield is the home of basketball.
Reside: SoCal (9 years in CA as of April 1st). I miss Fall. *sigh*
Work: Currently: In general my professional background is in: Non Profit Management/Development/Youth Development Trainer. YD is my "calling". I know how blessed I am to know my purpose and I do not take it for granted. I am grateful to Spirit for the blessings brought to me through my work. I do a lot of volunteer work in grant writing, program development, etc with a few non profits. Some youth work, one theater. I have volunteered in one place or another ever since I was 12.
Astrological info: I am a crab. Not Crabby. Moody yes. Aries Rising. Taurus Moon. um...I just realized I like Virgos and Scorpios best.
Spiritually speaking: *phew* Where do I start. Since I was 25, I have been "on the pagan path". I have realized, however, that I have mostly just been preparing for this current stage in my life. I have always felt a personal relationship with Mother Earth and have been, for most of my adult life, a Goddess worshiper. In October 2005 I was grabbed...or pulled into Mother Earth's arms in a huge way. My eyes have been opened in a BIG way to my Powhatan heritage and I can now say that I am "on the Red Road". Spirit has always been with me and using me to reach/touch/teach/embrace my fellow 2leggeds and 4 leggeds, winged and all the creepy crawlies...I just needed to mature a bit to be able to see this. The gifts and lessons of the last year or so have been many. I am grateful for the wisdom and feel a great sense of peace. Curious about what being "on the Red Road" means? Just ask...I am very open. :)
Favorite movies: Grease, West Side Story, Brigadoon(ahhh Gene Kelly), It's a Wonderful Life (ahhh Jimmy Stewart), Saturday Night Fever, The GOOD-The BAD and The UGLY, Scarface, Less Than Zero, Lord of the Rings Triology, Matrix, KILL BILL & KILL BILL II, and many more...
Favorite places: The woods anywhere, Holland, England (Bath), New Orleans, New York City, San Francisco, Paso Robles, Santa Barbara, New England, Disneyland/World, the beach.
I am pretty easygoing, eclectic and very silly. It's easy to get to know me. I do have one minimum requirement of anyone who be-friends me. Please be willing to keep an open mind.
